Holding a Banquet is a major method of raising honour in Stronghold Kingdoms. In order to raise the greatest amounts of honour, a number of 'honour goods' are required; the amount of honour received for each quantity of honour good increases with the number of types available, as shown below:

  • 1 of 1 banquet good type (e.g. 1 Venison) = 1x multiplier = 1 honour
  • 1 of 2 banquet good types (e.g. " " and 1 Furniture) = 2x multiplier = 4 honour
  • 1 of 3 banquet good types = 3x multiplier = 9 honour
  • 1 of 4 banquet good types = 4x multiplier = 16 honour
  • 1 of 5 banquet good types = 5x multiplier = 35 honour
  • 1 of 6 banquet good types = 6x multiplier = 60 honour

Banquet goods are affected by the one that supplies the most. E.g. If you have 10 venison, 9 furniture, and 8 metalware, you will recieve 72 honor for the 3 banquet goods, 4 honor for the venison+furniture, and 1 honor for the surplus venison.

Banquet goods each require a certain building to be produced, and some require a specific land type. The production of each banquet building can be increased by the respective branch in Industrial Research.

The types are listed in ascending order of the original 'Banqueting' research required for all these technologies (e.g., Metalware as third listed requires 3 Banqueting)
